As you’re well aware, we love all dogs, no matter the size, breed or age. So here at Ruff and Tumble, we thought we’d take a look at some of the most well-known dogs from TV and film to find out who the top dog is!
We have ranked these canine stars over six categories, including intelligence, obedience, friendliness, loyalty, speed and special skills! The special skills section was ranked as below:
- 1 = Standard skills for a dog but enhanced.
- 2 = More than enhanced skills for a dog/human-built tools/magic
- 3 = Extraordinary skills for a dog (e.g. talking)
- 4 = Exceptional/professionally trained dog
- 5 = Superpowers
Coming out as top dog is Beasley, from Turner and Hooch, who scored an impressive 4.2 out of 5. Superhero dog Bolt came in second place with a score of 4.2 but as having superpowers is pretty unlikely for a dog, we agreed Beasley deserved the top spot!
In third place, with a score of 4 out of 5, is the lovely Lassie! Scoring high across all the categories, and with her impeccable directional skills that enabled her safe return home from Scotland, it’s no surprise.
